Trip Overview

For over 15 years, we have been climbing Mt Shasta. With over 50+ summits and 20+ ski descents, your guide Shane knows Shasta! Join us and let Shane show you firsthand the difference a personally guided trip makes!

This is a private trip with just you and the guide climbing Mt Shasta to ski the West Face.

This 2-day trip is an accelerated version of our 3-day West Face Summit Ski Descent trip, except we’ll be climbing Mt Shasta to the summit via the Avalanche Gulch route before descending the West Face. We’ll depart from a base camp at Horse Camp so we can easily collect our camp after we ski the West Face. On Day 1, we’ll also do a short ski tour to learn ski mountaineering skills including the use of ski crampons, ice axe, and boot crampons.

*The non-private version of this same trip which is less expensive is the Accelerated Mt Shasta Summit Ski Descent Via West Face. For a one day summit climb and ski of Mt Shasta, consider checking out our other private trip called the Extreme One Day Climb And Ski Of Mt Shasta. If you’re interested in climbing Mt Shasta and skiing from the summit on a more relaxed schedule, check out our 3-day itinerary at Mt Shasta Summit Ski Descent Via West Face
